Crisis Happens.

Navigate with Confidence.

With over 30 years of executive leadership experience, I have enjoyed many successes.

I have also faced and overcome significant challenges, including the untimely death of my younger sister, the loss of my home in a wildfire, and a wide range of professional obstacles. These experiences have not only shaped my resilience, but also honed my expertise in identifying and applying the most effective tools for managing crises.

As the co-founder and former chairwoman of a publicly traded company, as well as a senior partner at a private equity firm, I have a deep understanding of the adversity faced by high-level executives. My coaching integrates emotional intelligence with practical business strategies, providing a structured, confidential framework to help leaders navigate both personal and professional challenges while maintaining clarity and resilience.

I hold a BA from Harvard College and an MA in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. To further refine my expertise, I completed the Co-Active Training Institute’s Executive Coaching program and earned the Grief Support Specialist Certification from the University of Wisconsin.

I am also the author of the award-winning Morning Leaves: Reflections on Loss, Grief, and Connection and co-author of Stories of Friends and Families Lost. Both books explore the powerful intersection of leadership and personal loss. In addition to writing, I lead educational initiatives, including grief workshops and speaking engagements.

Executive Coaching

I help leaders grow, strengthen their skills, and navigate professional challenges with conviction.

Drawing on 30 years of corporate experience, I provide a supportive, confidential space where leaders can clarify goals, build resilience, and enhance their effectiveness — both professionally and personally.

I also work with leadership teams to improve communication, collaboration, and overall performance.

By combining emotional intelligence with practical strategies, I help teams make better decisions, adapt to change, and cultivate a positive, high-performing culture.

The result is leaders and teams who are stronger, more resilient, and confident in facing any challenge.

Business Advising

I help founders and boards clarify their strategy, set fundraising goals, and build forecasts and organizational growth plans.

With 20 years in private equity, I bring hands-on experience that supports small businesses as they work to accelerate growth and build a strong, sustainable foundation. Running a small business is challenging, and the path isn't always straightforward.

My background helps leads move faster, avoid common pitfalls, and make informed, effective decisions.

Board Leadership

I guide boards — public, private, and nonprofit — to think strategically, ask the right questions, and shape direction with clarity and purpose.

I also help individuals develop the skills and confidence to contribute meaningfully, ensuring the boards and committees they sit on operate effectively and operate at a high level.

Grief Workshops

I lead grief workshops that blend nature, art, and community to help participants process loss and build resilience.

Many of these events use my book, Morning Leaves, as jumping off point where attendees engage in poetry, journaling, and creative expression.

They offer a nurturing space where grief can transform into hope, resilience, and allow each of us to reconnect with joy.
